Rock Ridge Contracting LLC is a family owned and operated business with over 20 years of experience.
What began as a passion for land stewardship and traditional timber framing has evolved into a premier design-build firm serving Northern Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley, and the Eastern Panhandle of WV. We were founded on a simple principle: to build something truly lasting, you must control the quality at every step.
Unlike standard contractors who outsource the most critical materials, we take a hands-on approach. From the initial excavation to the final joinery, we manage the heavy lifting in-house. This includes using our sawmill to mill custom timbers—often directly from your property—allowing us to turn your land’s resources into the heart of your new home, barn, or pavilion.
Whether we are crafting a custom timber frame home or executing a high-end remodel, our process is defined by deep respect for the material and a commitment to craftsmanship that can only come from decades of experience.
